You may have noticed I have no affinity with photorealism.
It is not about whether it just seems real, the point is that it is true and authentic.

I agree with you 100%. I have always believed that paintings have other principles and elements other than colour and balance. Sometimes back
I discovered honesty and originality too. Sometimes this is too elements are greatly overlooked yet they are the soul of any painting. They are the connection between the artist, the painting and the viewer.

That’s why I discovered I love painting from life or from my photography because every painting I will make will have a story behind it.
